Premium Breadmakers Association of Nigeria (PBAN) is a government  registered association of premium breadmakers involved in the bakery industry in Nigeria. PBAN seeks to protect the interest of breadmakers, fostering unity among her members, engage relevant stakeholders on behalf of members, training and re-training of workers and ensure customer satisfaction through the production of quality and healthy bread.

To grow, enhance and empower our members through education and networking, seeking the cooperation of all industry stakeholders.

The Principal Aims & Objectives of the Association are as follows:

  1. To organize and foster peaceful co-existence among all Premium bakery owners.
  2. To maintain a liaison and establish strong relationship with appropriate stakeholders that will enable the promotion of economic, social and educational welfare of members.
  3. To promote and encourage high baking standards, professionalism and discipline among member bakeries.
  4. To make and engage in investment decisions that will improve the welfare of the Association and members as well.
  5. Enforce and maintain discipline among members.
  6. Ensure compliance to extant environmental, safety, health and security policies by members.
  7. For advisory purposes, inspect baking equipment of new and existing bakeries periodically to ensure they are fit for purpose.
  8. Draw up Training and Re-training matrix for workers in the Premium baking industry.
  9. To carry out all such activities as shall appear to members to be relevant provided only that the Association shall not engage in any unlawful activity and shall not, as her primary objective promote or advance the cause of any political party.
